To upload your audio content:

• log in to the site admin in the controls section. -Click the “media” tab in the Dashboard on the left-hand side

• Click add new

• select file & upload.  (don’t forget to try the Browser uploader as suggested, depending on your operating system) Large files take some time to upload, so be patient….

• Once your file is uploaded you will see it in the Media Library

You can now create a new post, there are two ways to add audio content;

1. Use the podcasting “add media file” button at the bottom of your Add New Post page

• use the drop down menu to locate your file, listed in alphabetical order

• make sure the type is MP3 standard audio (iPod compliant)

2. Click the Upload/Insert musical note icon located on the top row of the main content menu, next to the flags and under the title box

• navigate to the media library in the pop up screen

• click show on the file you want to upload

• add/change any details you want

• click “insert into post” button

• You must add to the name of your file this format to enable the audio player (not required when using the podcast option above):

• So if your file name is,  my_great_mix ,  you have to change it to:

The media player will show up in your post where ever you have typed the code.

Click save and publish, and voila, your sounds should be posted for all to hear!!!
