RadioPlateaux

There are several ways to upload your video content:

1. upload your file to the radioplateaux server by clicking admin/dashboard/media/Add New

• select file & upload.  (don’t forget to try the Browser uploader as suggested, depending on your operating system) Large files take some time to upload, so be patient….

• Once your file is uploaded you will see it in the Media Library

• To add the file to your post click on the Upload/Insert add video icon in the menu bar above the main content window in your post (under the title).

There are five options to chose from:

1- add from computer: as it says…upload file from your computer (for this method you don’t need to add file to the Media Library as explained above).
2- add file from Media Library:  click show on chosen file
3- from Gallery: click show on chosen file

• In the Link URL section that comes up after the file has loaded click the File URL button. At this point you can choose to either show the video directly in your post or to provide a link that will open the video in a new page.

• To show the video directly in your post (the content must be quicktime compatible, ie. files ending in .mov) copy the link URL, and paste it in your post in this format:

* qt:the URL of the QuickTime movie file you want to embed, (the path can either be site-relative or absolute)
* width – width of the QuickTime movie
* height – height of the QuickTime movie

Alternatively, to provide a link in your post to open to a new page,  you can click File URL and click Insert into Post.

When ready, click save draft, preview and finally publish.
